This is exactly how the were with the 9200 - seems they have not learned/or do not want to learn from the past and could be a good indication of their respect for their customers.
This is normal Humax procedure, we have had this treatment, many, many times in the past - broken promises - still waiting for the last update.
Often the new software introduces more problems than it solves, as I say normal Humax procedure.
Have you tried tuning to BBC1 and Picture in picture ITV1?
Anyway I thought the latest software was supposed to copy the EPG to the HDD on switching off and re-load it on switching on?
I sent an e-mail to Michael this morning asking for a split, unfortunately I do not have this power.
(I see he has not been active since the 17 January, so he may be away)
You could run them through ProjectX http://www.videohelp.com/tools/ProjectX (free software) but my fav. is VideoRedo TV Suite (not free, but worthwhile IMHO) http://www.videoredo.com/en/index.htm , great for cutting out adverts and re-joins all the signals nicely.
