I’m sure BH means that the reduction of flu infections is a direct result of the restrictions in place as a result of the Covid pandemic. Wearing face masks, social distancing etc.
I had my second vaccine [AZ] last Thursday. I am 56 and not in any 'at risk group'. However, my mother who is 85 and who had her first vaccination jab before me, has not heard anything about her second dose. We are both registered at the same practice. The only reason I can think of is that she...
First of all, sorry for the bad spelling, I didn’t proof read before I hit ‘reply’ and auto correct didn’t get it right!
Of course, Trafford has its share of old folk. I can only assume that they had achieved a target and it was a case of use or loose the ‘spare’ vaccines. I don’t know what...
Well, I am 56, not on any 'at risk' register' and I was called for my jab back on 16th January. Just because Trafford got their act together, and had sum 'surplus' vaccines.
Yes, we enjoy it too, most relaxing.
The BBC have a habit of joining two 30 minute programmes into one hour long episode. I don't believe these flag as repeats. I have noticed this with Great Railway Journey's as well as The Repair Shop.
I changed my mum’s tariff but remained with e.ON. In the T&Cs it stated she must allow a Smart Meter to be installed. They have tried a few times to contact her but she have never replied. Nothing has come if it.
I think BH is correct. I have a 65yo brother who is type one diabetic and is most certainly in the high risk group. He is registered with a different medical practice than me and hasn’t heard a peep from them regarding his vaccination.
I am 56yo and not in any 'high risk' category. To my surprise. I received a text message from my doctors surgery yesterday at 14:00 inviting me to book for the Covid vaccination. It gave me a link to an NHS site where I booked my vaccination. I made an appointment for this morning, 08:30. It all...
On a slightly lighter note, I managed to visit my dad in his care home yesterday. I haven't seen him 'in-person' since March. We have tried to FaceTime over the months, but it just gets him frustrated as he has vascular dementia.
It was a pure delight to see him and chat, even if it was...
Me neither, but I had to switch off the call blocking feature to enable calls from healthcare professionals to get through.
If anyone knows a way to use it to block unknown numbers, or at least numbers not in its directory, but let ‘withheld’ numbers through, I would be grateful if they could...
I do have a brand new, unused, trueCall standalone unit. I purchased it for my parents specifically so they could keep the familiar landline telephone instrument. In the end events took over and it never happened. I could have used it myself, but prefer the combined mobile/answerphone/blocker.
