I cannot access the Hummy using Putty (comes up with 'connection refused' using SSH and Telnet) and using the Webif Diagnostics Database Browser it doesn't show any content, although it shows logical looking content on most of the other *.db files.
using Putty without SSH opens the Humax menu...
My HDR-FOX T2 went into power down mode this morning, and in the process has reset all its setup.
When I rebooted it decided it need to scan channels ... yada yada yada.
After getting the network configured again and restoring the backup I find it will not show the EPG on the WebIF...
Hmm, my RS is showing Tuesdays (tonights) episode as also being on Wednesday and although it is not in tonights schedule (replaced by sport, as noted above) it seems it still wants to record it tonight. So refresh now in progress ...
Thanks for the heads up.
I think I would be looking for wind affected trees in the signal path, from that description. Another possibility would be the aerial cable having a dodgy connection affected by wind.
No bent elements on the aerial? again wind movement could do strange things.
Not the VB code mentioned above. IIRC it gets compiled to tokens or links to .NET DLLs. But where were they using VB? was it code for the terminals? That is about the only bit I could envisage running Windows.
This will depend on the language suites used. If using the Microsoft Visual Languages...
This sounds like a capacitor on the electronics board has gone short circuit. It could be either a ceramiic or electrolytic that is the problem.
I once had a board that I was building up from a kit, and before fitting the expensive chips which were in sockets i had the presence to apply power...

My experience with serving database systems is that such access to change database entries is tightly controlled and restricted to specific staff, and the way the PO case is being portrayed by those who saw data being changed is that this wasn't the case for this database. This also seems to...
There have been some cases that have already gone to appeal where the Judge has claimed that the evidence doesn't support the claim that they were prosecuted due to deficiencies in the Horizon system, and the original prosecution has been allowed to stand. However I would be very wary of saying...
Surely the QR code is more easily forged than the rest of the stamp ...
I suspect that the sale value of the stamp is embedded in the code, and at a suitable time some scanning equipment will check the value of stamps against the weight and size of an item and reject any items that don't have...
I get the impression the adverts get inserted on the fly if you don't pay for the data stream. I believe youtube operates the same way, so when you work out how to download the core data stream it comes without adverts.
I have audio dropouts on play back, and I think it is only on PBS recordings. I never watch PBS live.
I don't recall it happening on recordings from other channels.
It can't be HDMI as the culprit on mine as mine plays through a SCART connection, so analogue.
Oh, yes, i remember something about being on a scooter and tooting his hooter as well.
Ah well, at my age I can't expect all the memories from younger days to survive ... :o_O:
There has been a backtrack by Telecom recently because people have complained about problems getting connected and unresponsive call center staff when they try to make a fault call. It was in the news somewhere, might have been one of the news web sites.
