I'm on the latest firmware and I am still getting hangs that started when I updated with a previous custom firmware.
Is there a log file or something we can run to try and diagnose the issue?
Only started looking recently so not had a chance to compare units yet.
If the developers planned to support a specific model I'd get whatever box they recommended. Wink Wink.
I am tempted to try one of these STB's.
Although without the custom firmware and packages developers here have created I think many of the boxes would feel lacking.
I've installed this as I had some issues with package installation, but I haven't had to update or install anything yet so can't comment on it's effectiveness.
Browsing the Humax Media Files seems faster though as do searches on the EPG, I don't know if tcpfix could affect these or if it's my...
I keep getting that error for every package I try to install/update now since WebIF 1.2.7-3
I've posted about it here: http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/webif-web-interface-1-2-4.6484/page-9
Image is broken too.
No matter what package I try to install now I get the following message and have to turn the Humax off and on before I can access it via the WebIF again.
I've updated the WebIF to 1.2.7-3 then to 1.2.7-4 and on each update the Humax gave an error and needed a reboot to access the WebIF.
Now when I try to run any of the diagnostics I get no confirmation that they have run.
Done but still the same.
I did try that as you can see in the thread but it never worked on the one folder I had issues with.
Funnily enough one of the folders I am having the issue with now is on the same channel and part of the same TV series.
The latest episode of Father Brown is labelled incorrectly, it should be s03e06.
When I search the TVDB for the correct episode and try to change it I get a white screen with the error message:
Error, module '' not found.
Since updating the WebIF none of the folders have any numbers on them, even after using resetnew.
EDIT:
I updated the WebIF yesterday and have restarted the humax a couple of times since.
I've been using the TVDB integration without issue until today.
I have set TVDB to rename as s##e##
For some reason Father Brown isn't renaming correctly.
