I was right, you don't understand. With the hill assist it's exactly the same as conventional except I don't have to touch the hb. You stop, engage hb then clutch-accel, disengage hb. I stop, hb is engaged without me touching it then clutch-accel hb disengages itself. Same result except I can...- SemiRamis

Well, I have now rebooted and the series entry is now in the humax schedule just like all the other expired entries. Do you really mean that it will not pick up new episodes?- SemiRamis

This. Currently there are no new episodes in the series but there will be. Does the fact that there are no new episodes mean that the event which was set up as a series record will just stay blank until new episodes appear or will it disappear on reboot?- SemiRamis

Connect the HDD from the old HDR-FOX to a PC, and use Linux or Windows* software available on this forum to decrypt all recordings. After that, all the existing recordings will be playable by installing the old HDD into the new HDR-FOX, or you could copy the recordings into the new HDR-FOX by...- SemiRamis
