Yes, I discovered ITV HD was still on air but ITV 1 was off in the North apparently for about half an hour. I'm just glad it wasn't my Hummy again!- Doppa

Is my hard drive on the way out? Blank new and old recordings - help!
Right now I am recording X-Factor on ITV 1 at the moment but there is no live output just "the channel is scrambled or not available" on a blank screen. What is happening? Does this have something to do with the encryption key too?- Doppa

I switched the Hummy off and on and and I was able to view all my previous recordings but also one I recorded tonight which previously was blank and wouldn't play, but the others were still blank so I guess they've had it according to...- Doppa

Fox/Freeview Fault? Switching from BBC 1 to BBC1 HD and sound cut off

Is it normal to lose series record if one episode is postponed?
The more I've been thinking about this I've realised that there are other series recordings that have been lost. I must admit I didn't look at the schedule before I re-entered the series recordings again. I was just looking through the EPG on Tuesday and happened to notice that Holby City (BBC1) wasn't set to record and yet The Paradise (BBC1) which is on immediately after was still set up. Yes they just disappeared. I also had Xtra Factor series record set on ITV 2+1 and that disappeared a couple of weeks ago but I wasn't really bothered but now I am as I'm worried it's not a good sign. Unfortunately I do have the latest software version on because I just bought the HDR in June...- Doppa

Is it normal to lose series record if one episode is postponed?
This week I noticed Strictly Come Dancing and Who Do You Think You Are had both been lost in series record. SCD had a gap of about 3 weeks and WDYTYA a gap of 1 week. Strangely, I also lost series record on Holby City which had no gaps at all. Is this normal behaviour? They are all on BBC1...- Doppa

Why does it change stations to ITV2+1 when recording?
Yes this worked fine. I must admit, I still can't see why it needs to jump to ITV2+1 to record it though. I've never seen that happen before. I wasn't actually watching BBC 1 when it jumped to ITV 2+1 but if I had been it would have spoilt the programme I was watching and I would have...- Doppa

The Fox was on BBC 1 as always and the recording schedule was: Casualty 21.09 - 21.59 BBC 1 Jonathan Ross 22.28 - 23.34 ITV 1 Xtra Factor 22.40 - 23.39 ITV2 +1 I'm recording Dragon's Den at the moment so I can't do the test you suggested for another half hour so I'll try it then, thanks.- Doppa

Why does it change stations to ITV2+1 when recording?
I've never had my old Hummy 9200 actually change channel before and I've only noticed the Fox doing this in the last three weeks. I've only had the Fox since June and it was a Humax Direct recon so I hope it's not a sign it's got problems.- Doppa
