  Both my boxes have the OTA 4.20 -4.40 timer set up so maybe that is where the problem is, rather than Red Ring. Do others experiencing the 'Blue Ring problem' also have this set up?

  Hi Ezra Pound and Owen. Exactly. They are not linked to each other so I don't understand how turning off ring colour changes could make display text seem much more reliable (I haven't noticed that it was unreliable but maybe Owen has).
