  Bit of a hack, but you could do a mkdir/rmdir? i.e. make a dir with a name encoded from the filename, using that dir's existence as the lock. A dir is easier than a file, as mkdir can then both be the taking, and the testing, of the lock.

  It may be the same issue, but I also see an alignment problem: Notice that on Thurs, everything is left-shifted a little. This would seem to be caused by the filler-gap after the first entry being a little too narrow. [and please don't blame me for the programme choice; it's the girls :)]

  (OT) I used Dolphin on Android for ages; then I realised it failed several points in a "your browser security" check, and they seemed disinclined to do anything about it, so I jumped ship and am now happy with the Dev version of Chrome.

  super! thanks. one niggle: since the hover-over works for more than just Pending events, that note should be moved from the Pending button in the key, to e.g. "Key (hover over for more details):", perhaps?
