Thanks MymsMan, but I've just one hand on the first rung of the coding lark
I've managed to sort my recordings in to some form of order, splitting series linked folders in to single series folders S1, S2 etc in the main series linked folder, so it's a start
I've also managed to sweep (oh a...
Just has a quick look while creating another simple in-series linked folder rule, I see a Logical Channel Number (first option visible in popup list) but scrolling down the list, there appears to be no Logical Channel Name option, am I missing something, or is Logical Channel Name option located...
I have a couple of Humax HDR Fox T2 recorders with custom firmware, both are 1Tb hard drive models
Having tried my hand for a second time with 'sweeper' (updated version), I seem to be having more success, however
On occasion, there are series linked recordings that according to remote...
As .sweeper is hidden, would an auto delete empty folders plugin see a hidden file which has no content
A local file acting on one folder requires less debugging for the novice, my own needs are to move some programmes, which are shrunk and watched, others are moved when they are just shrunk...
Hello Trev (The Dumb One, (here here))
Yes, the 'Experts' are there, but I managed to identify a problem that had never been thought of and reported back the solution
[ Expert ], a person who is very knowledgeable about or skilful in a particular area, (not then there is no sweeper.conf file)...
Thank you af123 for confirming my findings, as my work-around solution seems to remedy the situation, there is a little less urgency to write the update in to the software
I have had to add a rule at the root level after all, one remote scheduling event seems to have picked up my searched for...
That's why I prefer to do on a 'folder by folder' basis, basically there is no call for having every series link folder process in this fashion
Oh, if anyone is interested, I have sourced a supply of single use dummies, ideal for throwing on to the floor or chucking out of a window, in...
Thank you again for your support MymsMan
Seems I not the only one who lack attention to detail, remember the instance of not being able to save just one scheduled recording, and my scenario not being believed, oh how the mighty have further to fall
I have my other Humax Fox set up with...
I don't code, I tinker, I dabble, I like watching recordings on the telly, but I've now reached a point when I'd like to stop manually moving recordings and filing them in to sub-directories, it appears 'sweeper' is now working
Yes I did press 'save' the issue seems to have solved itself by...
Thank you MymsMan, please understand, this is like wing walking without a harness, without a parachute, whilst flying upside down
Though I have good news, I replaced four recordings out of their series link folder and placed them back to the root level, they have now been processed and have...
Currently, I only have three folders configured with a sweeper rule in each series linked folder, the rule is to file away a recording based on the series number
So at the root level of 'My Video' > 'Programme Folder' > S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5
Having had a look at the 'Queue' list, decrypt and...
I created the destination sub-folders and copied from across the top of the page, but needed to delete spurious spaces, so know the path is correct, running 'Test config' report Match and Nomatch results, doing 'Run now' processes as expected
Match - processed as expected
Nomatch - ignored...
Here is my Auto-Processing Settings, as you can see, no setting options for 'sweeper'
I've used the 'Test config', which finds valid files to process, but after several hours, nothing has been moved, yet the queue files are being processed
Thanks you for your suggestions
Thank you hairy_mutley
Now auto processing is not processing newly created sweep rules, though auto decrypt and auto shrink have completed ok
Also, cannot see any options in 'Auto-Processing Settings ' in 'Settings'
