According to Aunty this is a continuation of Series 9, beginning at episode 21 (episodes 1-20 were aired Mar/Apr this year). As far as I can tell these are all-new episodes although the mid-afternoon screening does make me wonder....- alanofcleeves

Reasons for a 0 minute recording fail ?
My scheduled F1 recording on CH4 HD also failed. Channel 4 seem to have EPG issues at the moment. Neither of my HDRs has any info for Channel 4 or Channel HD beyond 07:10 on Saturday.- alanofcleeves

Series Recording cancelling some episodes
Mine did record (AR) but IIRC I had deleted the original recording entry and re-entered it once tonight's episode became visible in the EPG. [Last week's episode was replaced by Women's T20 that had been moved from either BBC1 or BBC2.] Best look out for the repeat at 01:15 on Sunday morning.- alanofcleeves

Expired server certificate
My browser/security progs prevented access to hummy.tv at around 10am but it is working again now, so thanks to whoever has fixed the behind-the-scenes stuff.- alanofcleeves

I have an Edimax with lettering below the barcode: EW7711USN32CE01190, unused for a good few years now. Good call. It finished sometime between 05:30 and 09:00, so roughly 19-22 hours, ending with Status 0 so it all looks okay. It has been commented on before but it is a pity that fixdisk doesn't output any progress message during long checks. Some changes were made to the file system so...- alanofcleeves

Sorry, should have picked up your question. Yes, the modulator is always on but its UHF output is one new mux + all the Freeview ones.- alanofcleeves

That makes sense. After a couple of failures I always made sure there was nothing in the schedule to get in the way but I'm sure the failures would have been set for AR. There is another quirk that threw me the first it happened: a restart from standby causes the HDR to forget the channel...- alanofcleeves

I can't speak for fvp-4000t-5000t-freeview-play-hd-recorders but I can confirm that it does work with an HDR-FOX. My modulator is a Technomate but I expect that the Triax will be similar. Recording end padding value
Do you have the boot-settings package installed? If so it is possible that a value set by that is overriding your changes whenever the HDR is re-booted.- alanofcleeves
