When I have had this problem I have used the Webif to rename the recording that is stuck in the queue. The process then will report 'file not found' and move on as normal.- alanofcleeves

Broken series links or just me?
In BBCs eyes this wasn't a repeat. iPlayer describes it as "60-Minute Versions: Episode 32". All kinds of reality programs (eg Bargain Hunt, Flog It! etc) get this treatment, which describes a rehash of original material in a 'new' presentation. Not sure who they think are being fooled.- alanofcleeves

Lost sound
Some fairly recent TVs eg. Panasonics have settings relating to each HDMI connection and may default to the latest features. The 'wrong' settings can result in no sound from the HDR-Fox. If this is relevant to your TV could the settings have changed?- alanofcleeves

Any issues with using 4Tb usb drive with a T2?
I switched from using an external USB drive to a Synology NAS about 2 years ago so the recollection is a bit hazy now. Prior to the NAS I did have a 4TB USB drive and don't recall a problem; I installed what was then the beta version of ntfs-3g . I used the drive only for storage, although the...- alanofcleeves

Beta Offline decryption utility
In Avidemux I don't think you have a choice. It treats all audio as having the same codec as that encountered at the start of the file. If you do find a way it would be good to know!- alanofcleeves

I'm guessing that you want to use Avidemux to create an MP4 file free of adverts, possibly recoded to say, 720p. Provided the recording starts in 5.1 (use File -> Information in Avidemux to confirm this) I've always been able to retain 5.1 audio in the resulting mp4 output file. Just use Copy...- alanofcleeves

From what you say it seems a good bet that the audio codec changed from stereo to 5.1 a few seconds into the recording. Avidemux can't deal with that. EPG still showing summer time
I think you are correct. I have noticed also that a new Manual Event created using the WebIf (to run auto processing in the wee small hours) has a start time that is 1hr later than input. I expect this will return to normal after Sunday when the clock change date leaves the EPG.- alanofcleeves

If you are receiving from Winter Hill it appears that Sky Arts is broadcast on COM5. It may be worth checking whether others from COM5 have gone AWOL, eg. 17 Really, 19 Dave. At 17:40 I can confirm that at least some of the changes have happened - at least here on Rowridge, I can add to your list: Sky Arts has replaced Pick on channel 11. At least that will be an improvement (other opinions are available).- alanofcleeves

Some of these versions cropped from to 14:9 aspect ratio are still broadcast in that format, eg series 2,3 and 5 of The Insector Lynley Mysteries when shown, I think, on UK Drama.
