Prompted to use Tapatalk
Whenever I log into hummy.tv on my iPad, I am prompted to use Tapatalk. A banner drops down from the top of the webpage. However, if I use my iPhone, no such prompt occurs. It is probably a setting at my end, but for the life of me I don’t know what. Any suggestions please?- Wallace

Resolved Issue with Two-step verification emails not arriving
I don't use the email option. Many of the sites if frequent have 2FA so I use an authenticator app. Saving the backup codes to an encrypted drive on partition on my PC.- Wallace

Webshell and Fixdisk
I run fdisk regularly and it has yet to find any issues. It takes 3-4 hours to complete the cycle. The reason it takes so long does not appear to be because it is finding and correcting issues.- Wallace

I agree with MymsMan, on one of my HDRs, it has an almost full 4GB HDD. It takes a long time to complete an fdisk run. I would not want one triggered automatically. I know that it is only TV, but SWMBO has OCD and will not let me 'cull' any recordings, no matter how old they are. This is the...- Wallace

Channel 5, 5+1 and 5 HD EPG data missing.
Good morning. I setting the weekly recording schedule for SWMBO this morning and noticed that the EPG data for channel 5, 5+1 and 5HD was missing but only for Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October. AFAIK, they are the only channels missing. The EPG jumps from 4 to 6. The whole entry is missing...- Wallace

I should know this. One of my HDRs is playing up and I am drafting a spare into service. I have swapped over the 4TB HHD and as all previous recordings were decrypted, they play fine on the 'new' HDR. The faulty HDR will boot and I can access the CF as I have put a temp HDD in that already had...- Wallace

We were very lucky with my dad. He was very understanding of his predicament and could see what was on the horizon. He approved LPoA for me to look after his financial affairs and for my sister to look after his medical/health needs. He now lives in a care home with vascular dementia. I would...- Wallace

Remote power-on
I have a Logitech Elite remote. I don’t use it as the ‘go to’ remote, but I have the base station permanently powered on and configured. I use the Logitech Harmony app on my iPhone and if away from my home network, I VPN in, and use the app to power whichever HDR I want. Once powered on, and the...- Wallace
