Searching for the Perfect DLNA Client (Windows)
It works well, now streaming ITV player. Can't seem to get anything back from the hummy but thats probably in the settings. Unfortunately you have to pay for this prog $25 don't know if I like it that much!!!- brianmt

How do I stream to PC?
on wmp theres a drop down box, top left marked stream, open and make sure all options are ticked. Under other libraries you should see Humax- brianmt

Just downloaded wild media server, managed to get it to stream livefootyonline.com channel5 via the hummy to my tv not really sure how at the moment but at least it works . Searching for the Perfect DLNA Client (Windows)
Senior moment !! I used splash player to see if it would play back HD files, but I seem to remember reading someone using it as a dlna server. I've messed about with so many different servers in the past few weeks its hard, at my age, to remember.- brianmt

Going to try this server http://www.wildmediaserver.com/product_info.php seems to allow internet forwarding from your pc to your Hummy !!! Great if it works, liveonlinefooty.com on your telly without all the messing about with cables:D- brianmt

How do I stream to PC?
It's quite straightforward you need a server program on your pc. If you are using windows 7 or vista the server program is built in. Just open WMP (windows media player) and on the right hand side you see all the libraries that are available at the bottom of this list you'll see your Humax, just...- brianmt

Digital Media Server compatibility
I had a similar experience, It was working fine, ( I know " if it ain't broke don't fix it" ) updated my codecs to the one you mention and found exactly the same , so I did a restore to a previous version and it work again. Can only assume new codecs are at fault. Picked this up from another...- brianmt

No auto switch TV input?
By putting your hummy into standby you miss out on the pvr's best function ie being able to pause live tv while you get another beer from the fridge or when the phone rings. Also the ability to rewind when you've just missed an important piece of dialogue or plot line and my fan is not load or...- brianmt
