     Just a quick reply - I agree that Splash player lite is absolutely brilliant for playing SD & HD files from the HDR as long as they are local on the PC or NAS - I have it as my default player for most file types - simple and good quality - without all the excess baggage and millions of settings...

     Just to report everything working fine here (no >4Gb files yet though) Thinking aloud - would it be feasible to use a routine along the lines of "nicesplice" to split larger files into "part 1", Part 2..... etc. - either before or after unencrypt, depending where the problem lies.      OK, I have not got any files that big yet - I presume you can stop it processing if you toggle the "ENC" flag back on before unencrypt gets to it? Need to be pretty quick I would think. Also with 0.1.2b-1 and it has processed everything now including a couple of test recordings done earlier...

     Thanks for the quick reply. Strange, but after I sent the previous it suddenly started working, sort of! I was just about to send an update when I saw your reply. It suddenly said it was "Watching Masterchef......" which is odd because this was one of the files I had already decrypted using...
