Hi.
I have just installed TV Diary as recommended in this thread.
What is the purpose of the Start of the TV day: setting?
Presumably, setting it to 08:00 will ignore films and TV broadcast after midnight til 8am?
Thank you for all your replies.
@prpr Presumably said log file is empty_dustbin.log?
It's not immediately obvious to me what to search for to see each deleted item
Thank you, peterworks and MymsMan,
I will give TV Diary a go.
Is there a log file, or any other means, to see which recordings I have deleted, going back a few months?
The reason for this is that I have a terrible memory for films I have watched.
Yes, it's another of my unimportant, somewhat irrelevant (annoying?), questions.
Any help gratefully received.
I did not, but as I say, I only set rules to test it all out.
I was probably only on the page for half an hour.
At the end of which, there were no rules.
Indeed.
Ah, I played around with the Auto Rules...
I tried various options to learn how to use them.
I deleted them all and RS tells me that
No automatic scheduling rules are defined.
Could my messing about have created all these messages?
As there is no Delete All button, I shall wait to see what...
Logging into https://rs.hpkg.tv/ today, I saw a table of "Queued commands".
In the left-hand column is a green plus icon, in the right-hand column is a waste basket icon.
In the middle column is the text
Auto-Schedule one-off '' on 0 (0) at Thu 01 Jan 1970 01:00 ...
If you are interested in Harlots, then you may be unaware that
A) the second series follows on from the first, which is to say it's in the usual timeslot of 9pm Wednesday BBCTWO but
B) the series link ends with the first series so you'll have to set up a new one.
It's easy to overlook so I...
Well, of course, I joined PlusNet before they were bought by BT...
Actually, no noticeable difference, apart from I could buy BT Sport for half price if I wished to.
Question.
When I use the WiFi Analyser app on my tablet, I can see I am surrounded by BT networks, including BT FON which, as we now know, uses 10.x.x.x.
Can this impact on my home WiFi network, which uses 10.0.0.x?
I am not talking about WiFi speeds, or WiFi channels, but about the IP...
I am currently on the standard PlusNet Unlimited Broadband.
I have been paying £7 per month for the past two years.
Before that, I was paying £6 per month.
Like you, I take advantage of the Line Rental Saver.
I own a domain name in the format of surname.tld which is hosted on PlusNet's...
Thank you, BH.
That is a clear explanation which I pretty much understand.
Yes, I am guessing I have been lucky, meddling with things I barely understand.
You are, of course correct: my Humax has a submask of "255.255.255.0", as do all the devices where I have managed to find the submask...
Is this information relevent to your question?
