Hi
Does anyone else's webif connection fall over? I use my laptop upstairs to check that programmes have recorded, add stuff to the schedules etc via webif, and this morning "problem loading page" came up. It happened before and all I did was to use the switch at the back of the box to turn it...
Hi
Installed flatten via webif, but it has yet to work! Series-linked recordings are still being put into folders. I checked the OPT+ settings via webif (all OK I think) and even selected "do not flatten" just to see what would happen (got a flat tyre icon) and then reverted. So... what now?
Got this:
Shared resources at \\192.168.0.12
Samba HDR-Fox-T2
Share name Type Used as Comment
----------------------------------------------------
Media Disk Media
The command completed successfully
Morning all
WebIF is now running (used manual instead of DHCP - not a techie so no idea what I just typed!), installed samba but laptop still can't map network drive. Do I have to reboot the laptop?
Morning all,
I installed webif, CFW and a few packages including flatten yesterday, and all went swimmingly, I thought. But this morning I tried to logon but webif just isn't loading; plus flatten doesn't seem to have done anything, unless it doesn't work on stuff already recorded - auto...
OK, thanks for the link, but I think the poster's problem is different to mine - he has a converted DVD that plays (on his PC, I assume) in 4x3 instead of 16x9, whereas all (both!) of my 16x9 videos play as 4x3 on the Foxbox.
OK, thanks anyway, will Goggle or something...
My concern is that VLC is displaying it properly (widescreen) so I really don't know where to start. Searches have led to questions from people whose videos don't display properly on their PC/Ipod whatever, whereas mine's fine - just not on my Foxbox
Hi BH, there are settings for the output; I chose 1280x720 and 16x9 (same as the MKV) so I don't know what else I could have done.
Anyway, what's this utility you mentioned?
Hi all
changed from Freemake to Super C, all OK and looked good in VLC; transferred to HDR and the aspect ratio is now 4x3 (supposed to be 16x9 obviously)!
Help please?
Ian
