Dear Sir
Thanks for the information. We have only recently been made aware of this issue and have not fully investigated it so cannot advise yet on when a fix can be in place. The issue is to be looked...
Hi,
Currently running 1.14 and about to upgrade to 1.15 (HDR FOX T2). Do I meed to uninstall 1.14 and revert to the standard Humax firmware before upgrading or can I simply upgrade to 1.15 'over the top'?
Thanks,
This doesn't help though. I already use Faststone, which auto-rotates. But this is not reflected in Windows which will still display the photo in landscape, and the FOXT2 is rendering from what it finds there. As I understand it, Windows (even Win 7) does not read the orientation tag.
I do have Win7 and rotating in Explorer is the simplest option. I've heard some say that doing so loses the EXIF data but as far as I can see that isn't the case.
Hi folks,
I'm connecting successfully to my NAS drive through the HDR-FOXT2 for streaming movies and displaying my photos on the TV. Whilst this works fine, the photo side of things seems to be a bit lacking, in that photos will not automatically rotate.
As I'm sure you know if you load...
For anyone interested and on the subject of streaming HD particularly - the Nightly builds of XBMC are worth a look. I'm finding excellent stability, much improved controls once you're actually streaming, and very fast start up. The latest two builds, interestingly. are seeing all my HD...
Interesting, having established that XBMC will stream HD, I recorded an episode of BBC's Frozen Planet last night - XBMC will not even 'see' the .ts file. Auto-unprotect is installed and seems to be working...
Indeed you can - I'm doing it too. I also copy the occasional recording to the virtual-disk, which decrypts in the process, allowing me to stream with FF/FR control. In my case I've just put XBMC on 4 laptops in the home network.
One reason why, in my case, I want a DLNA client is that when my...
Yes, I can now, and I can play back, although it's a long wait for the recording to start. Disadvantage with this is that you have to copy the files to the virtual-disk before playing back, whereas XBMC will stream SD direct and HD is faster to load.
OK, been playing with this some more:
In fact, as you confirmed, XBMC will stream HD with only auto-unprotect installed, but I can only see the .ts files in XBMC for new recordings made since installing the custom F/W and auto-protect. The only way to play existing recordings, it seems, is to...
I seem to have left myself with a mess on the virtual drive though - I have an empty folder there and I can no way of deleting it - either on the FOX T2 or the webif.
