You may get use to it. The partner made a useful observation on the design. They are old school and don't have a touch screen. The design seems to be around a touch screen, if so you are suppose to swish those panes but obviously on the Humax no swishing. You have the subtitles implemented...
I think we can say there isn't one at the minute unless you downgrade to 1.02.xx. So basically its the improved iPlayer plus recording HD issues fixed with slow EPG or not. There is a better table on another thread that lists pros and cons. I think if you schedule / browse the epg via the custom...
Clearing out the house of my dead mother does have an effect, plus several other relatives that she hasn't sorted their stuff out. Thought I had sorted theirs out but discovered another treasure trove, so nice when IT works since the rest doesn't. Oops I thought you were having ago at me, have a...
The last post just then from Barry says he can't go into it but not issues reported here being myhumax... Hmmm... Must be careful that I'm not assused of chocolate fudge. Bit worrying. Pure speculation perhaps it doesn't work well with what we haven't seen namely the portal enhancements or some...
It would be a failure of beta testing if that was the case. I'm always intrigued as to how many people they use and in my career you usually got yes guys for that so it didn't get tested well. Not that I had an angle that I would charge.
I suspect so. More stuff to move about... Drag in and out of memory so that's a variable. One for af123. I do tend to use the custom software for putting events in, but will use the EPG if I know the programme is on at a specific day or time. But generally not browse with it.
I would give you the BootHDRs ones but it's so bad I give up. I had noticed it was pretty bad before but since the software isn't suppose to run on the box not so bad.
Is there not a user interface issue here about how you scroll the screen, you use the >>| and |<< button for moving between...
I did post up a few weeks ago a link to a BBC demonstration of the new iPlayer. Personally it is a vast improvement on the iPlayer in 1.02.xx

PS I think you missed the new...
Hmmm I expect the argument goes this is a feature of the Free view PVR spec so you have to put your own work arounds in as you covered there and they aren't waking the box up themselves for better EPG refresh except to correct a design issue which is a flawed for the reasons given.
Thanks.
My understanding from what Barry said was that they had sorted out the issue where if you go on holiday for two weeks it misses a serial record since the EPG was never refreshed. You will be saying when it powers up on the serial record it will make the refresh now. I had assumed they...
