When I posted my previous message I had seemingly spent all day retuning, rebooting and running tunefix so I was probably a bit punch-drunk and didn't explain myself properly. When I said "remove tunefix" I actually meant "reset the channel list" as I had noticed that even after a full retune...- lashers

Thanks for the quick work. I updated tunefix and tunefix-update, then did a full retune. The EPG corruption had disappeared, but I found I had gained another 40 channels numbered 800-839. The channel name for each was "Unknown" and there was no programme data, but looking on the webif EPG the...- lashers

Can I recover files "lost" after running fix-disk?
For a while I had reception problems (on HD channels only) which seemed to start after using a newly purchased graded HDR-T2 1TB I bought as backup for the box I was previously using. This ranged from occasional screen glitches to complete loss of picture and came to a head a couple of weeks ago...- lashers

No. I mostly use the crop function to "top and tail" recordings I want to keep, ie remove the minute or so after the end of the actual programme to save disc space.
