No problem, the underlying components and mechanisms are quite different between the two platforms (Foxsat-HDR and HDR Fox-T2), despite being quite similar on the surface.
I added the +setsynopsis option to hmt (well, technically, ported it from the HDR Fox-T2 CFW) in order to handle non-Freesat channel recordings better.
If you install the rs package (Remote Scheduling) and schedule Channel 4 HD (and other non-Freesat channel) recordings via the Remote...
Based on what is readable the box is definitely struggling with this HDD. Whether this is owing to HW issues on the box itself as Black Hole has suggested or issues with the HDD itself is difficult to say.
How much time and money are you willing to spend trying to fix this? If you have an...
So running this command didn't create the file /opt/etc/.SYSLOG_ENABLE and in turn also (probably not until the next reboot) the file /opt/tmp/syslog?
Look for these files using these two commands issued via Telnet:
ls -al /opt/etc/.SYSLOG_ENABLE
ls -al /opt/tmp/syslog
If the last file exists...
During playback in VLC click on the playback window, then click on the balloon icon to the left of the rewind icon, click on Audio Track in the popup menu and finally click on the track marked with [English], not the one marked with [NAR].
Sounds like a dodgy HDD, how large is it?
I might have a limited, beta release of a tool that exposes some of the HDD's SMART information but not sure how helpful that is if the situation is so bad that fix-disk fails.
You can also try the following on the box:
touch /opt/etc/.SYSLOG_ENABLE...
I agree that it's not ideal but this is only an issue for beta testers - in this case only 1 or 2 users.
I need to be able to distinguish through a version number whether it's a beta version or not. I use the following scheme for that purpuse:
<version>-1: Beta 1 release of <version>...
Apologies, I forgot that opkg doesn't work downloading and downgrading in one go. In fact, I couldn't get it to just download either, so you can try the following commands via Telnet/SSH, replace <username> with your RS Portal username, the curl commands will prompt you for your password:

I'm very happy to finally announce the production availability of RS 1.4.5-14!. 1.4.5-13 never made it to production (the beta release was 1.4.5-13-1), but 1.4.5-14 includes everything in 1.4.5-13-1 announced here...
Thanks a lot, running that database changes made the trick, it seems to be fully working now.
This installation issue is already fixed in the next version (not yet available). I welcome any feedback you might have.
As requested, please attach the /opt/tmp/rspnps.log created by running that command to your reply - I need to be able to see the content.
Seems that the installation script failed to upgrade one of the databases. Please save the attached file in /opt/tmp/rs.rsqueue3.sql (note the extension...
Hi Peso
I believe this would be caused by the RS client crashing for some reason.
Did you install the runtime library upgrade (opkg install http://hpkg.tv/foxsat/moftot/runtime-libraries_1.0.1_mips.opk )?
Are there any .sta files left in /opt/tmp? Please run the following commands when logged...
In order to add non-Freesat channels to your channel lineup follow this procedure:
Perform a new manual tuning:
Menu | Setup | Manual Tune.
Transponder: All.
Network Search: Disable.
Scrambled Type: FTA.
Channel Type: All or TV.
Click [Search].
Wait for the manual tuning to finish...
Not sure I understand the issue. What do you mean by safeguard broadcast timer? A manual recording schedule? Can't you just remove the existing one with the incorrect title and create a new one?
With WebIf on the box itself you can only set up manual recording schedules up to 1 month in...
If the box is connected to a dish and has a working Freesat connection the Housekeeper boot at 03:00 should set the time, unless the box is recording at that time.
If you want to manually set the time, try the following:
date -s "2019-06-28 08:19:21"
with the appropriate date and time.
