Dear all
I'm very happy to finally announce the availability of RS 1.4.5-13 Beta 1 (1.4.5-13-1)!
Changes
Now supports non-Freesat channels, including series recording simulation and synopsis fixup.
When receiving schedule commands from the RS Portal for events that can't be found in the EPG...
Have you set the following to Yes on the box using WebIf?
RemoteScheduling Plug-in Settings | Transliterate UTF-8 Characters in Titles to ASCII 7-bit
This should transliterate "é" to an "e" in the file and folder names but it needs to be set when you schedule the event/series for recording. It...
What this refers to is just like any other manual schedule performed on the box itself in the EPG.
Check out the official Humax Foxsat-HDR manual, pages GB35-36. You can find the manual here:

Sorry if that wasn't clear.
In that case I suggest you read the Wiki again, it's all documented there. https://wiki.hummy.tv/wiki/Remote_Scheduling_Portal

It seems that you're confusing Web Interface and Remote Scheduling Portal. The Web Interface runs on the box itself and you can only access that whilst at home and the box in non-standby (unless you're exposing your network to the Internet, which is a security risk).
So to confirm, have you...
Hi ppc348
Not sure what you mean by "If my HDR is on standby I can see the web interface". The Web Interface (or WebIf) is running on the box itself and that's not reachable if the box is in standby, unless it's recording something, in which case it's not in "real" standby.
Please have a look...
Would it work if he took the PVR to a friend that has a working Freesat setup, tune the box there, take it back home and not retune at home? Or does the box always need at least one live channel to work properly?
Everything else failing, if you have HD recordings and they are unencrypted (through the nowster patch) you can access the recordings from other devices via either SMB or DLNA/UPnP, the latter through MediaTomb.
Yes but the questions is whether the HDMI-to-VGA downscales the output to SD 576p anyway so it wouldn't make sense to watch an SD channel, ask the Foxsat to upscale from SD 576p to 720p or 1080i, the HDMI-to-VGA converter then potentially downscales to 576p and not sure what your TV does in the end.
Hi David
Are you watching SD or HD content on the Foxsat-HDR? I'm wondering whether there's something related to HDCP that isn't properly handled by the HDMI-to-VGA converter with HD.
What's the max. resolution you can get over this combination? 576p?
Thanks Graham, I didn't even consider switching to non-Freesat mode to test whether that changed anything, great idea. I'll test this on a looped feed this coming weekend.
I know, but it still doesn't work.
I thought you couldn't do that with imported non-Freesat channels but I tried. I can only schedule the first, I'm not allowed to schedule the second, the box says that there's a conflict.
If I manually do whatever the WebIf is doing to schedule a recording...
I'm fully aware of this for Freesat channels but it seems that recording non-Freesat channels is more restrictive. Two non-Freesat channels I'm trying to record at the same time are indeed compatible, which can be verified by viewing one non-Freesat channel whilst the other non-Freesat channel...
