After a lot of thinking of the pros and cons of contacting the family, I feel that Mikesh's post above sums up the situation and we should let things lie.
I only made post #1 as member aekostas resurrected an old thread here and the mods moved my comment to a new one.
Just returned from holiday. If anyone still thinks it's worth it after so many years have elapsed, I'll have a crack at it in a few days, although I remember the most humorous posts made during the 'change letters in words' threads were deleted a few years ago.
Just got internet back up again. BH's suggestion is a fair alternative. I say go with this.

I'm in a tricky spot for consistent internet, so if I don't reply, I'll go with what the majority think.
Currently abroad but on return would happily rename as per BH's suggestion and troll through some of Trev's earlier posts to write a (humourous) eulogy.
If folks don't think it's a good idea then please post to that effect.
At the annual review, our surgery issues me with a BP monitor and readings are taken morning and evenings for seven days. I note the results and hand them in and await the verdict.
Yes, particularly with recordings of early Wheeler Dealers on Quest+1. Had it during the week when skipping through adverts on ITV's Vera (ugh!). That's just pressing the right arrow on central button. Had to do that as detectads failed on that programme.

Family member purchased the Digitradio mentioned and has proved to be successful, most stations available with just the short internal aerial. As it is made in Germany is comes with a 2-pin European plug. No optical connection as prpr mentioned but connected to the amp...
Ah yes, Quink ink. I was poor with a fountain pen, never quite got the hang of them, consequently with the copious amounts of ink and blotting paper used, I should have had shares.
That's a pet hate of mine, sitting in a traffic queue at night being blinded by the array of rear brakes lights. Doesn't anyone use a handbrake any more?
