     HDD Backup Package?

     OK.... I understand how to create an entry in the cron (thanks to Ezra's earlier post), but do I need to add a line to wake up the Humax before the sync runs, and can I add a line to put the Humax back to sleep after a certain period of time? If so, could anyone give me the syntax for these?

     You're absolutely right. I've now used "drive1" instead of "My Passport", and the Humax is diligently synchonising. Thank you very much, Ezra, Martin and xyz321. Now I just need to insert an entry in the cron file, and hopefully I'll be able to do that without too many problems.

      Unencrypt vs Webif with Decrypt

      I've probably missed something, but how do you opt for recursive decrypt? (I can access options for Auto-Shrink, Auto-Dedup and Auto-Decrypt using the Opt+ button of the My Video file within the WebIF, but I can't find any reference to "recursive".)

      Wi-Fi DHCP I've now tried this, as you suggested, but I still can't get into maintenance mode. :( The Humax is definitely in some form of write-protect mode: scheduled recordings no longer work, and the Humax doesn't "remember" its position if I interrupt playback and then resume.

      I can go telnet after a power cycle that shows Cust FW 2.14. But if MAINTENANCE is showing (ie. I have gone into advanced maintenance and and power cycled), telnet doesn't work.

      BTW, this is the IP address that is shown in the Humax settings, and which works for ping and Telnet.
