Could you answer the question I asked in post #38 please : "How are you configuring the Internet connection (ie the WAN port) on the AX55, (section 4.3 of the user manual)."
I have used an attenuator with other Humax boxes without problem but not needed to try on an Aura. When did you buy this Aura? There were some problems with early production Aura that was traced to an out of tolerance component in the tuning circuitry and Humax swapped out the boxes.
The account is optional; it is to provide the ability t remotely manage the router.
From reading the AX55 manual and knowledge of other TP-Link routers, I think the functionality to do what the OP wants should be available. It will be easier if Bottletop's suggestion that the HubOne can be...
I am pretty sure that when I first move to Plusnet some years ago I was surprised to find that it wasn't possible to change the IP address on the modem/router they supplied Iso I went and bough a third party one).
On the rare occasions I have 4 recordings in progress I haven't seen any signs of hard drive overload although most of my recording is in SD
I don't suppose the amplifier has variable gain?
It might be; the only way to find out is to use a variable attenuator to reduce the signal strength and see what happens.
My reading of what I have seen posted about the Aura is that it is less sensitive which would make sense as the HDR-FOX T2 is a pre DSO design and the Aura is a post DSO design.
Do you have all the custom firmware packages up to date? (We have seen a number of cases recently where users with problems had been running very old versions of the custom firmware).
Take all the time you need. I think the point we were trying to get across was that it should be possible with what you have. It would help if you could tell us what type of broadband you have,
Yes, you will lose the backwards EPG and a few bits of the forward EPG but otherwise it should be fine.
Yes but you need to install a third party app such as VLC to do it.
