Is it possible to remotely schedule two different HDR-Fox T2's on the same network?
Two different IP addresses I can imagine, but how one would differentiate between them when logging on over the internet I can't for the life of me guess.
At 500gb I don't think I call an external hard drive small or even miss-name it as a flash drive, ha ha! And boy aren't they cheap.
Just use your hummy hard drive to record too. And store all other obtained videos on an external Hard Drive, the internet is a large place, one needs a lot of...
I think there are some misunderstandings here. My understanding was that borise couldn't play xvids, no mention of copying to the hummy. Just plug in an external drive to the hummy and then play them on the hummy off the external drive. Before the updated firmware was introduced xvid avis did...
Nothing recent, just the ones that have been there for a while. The only video files I can't play are .mkv so I have to use my computer for these. BTW xbmc will play these without subs, the only one which will that I've found. Avis even xvid avis they are no problem..
Brilliant, works a treat. Thanx....:) If/When it can/is implemented for Hi-Def, I can think of a few happy chappies. It will avoid a whole load of work editing in software on the computer. I hadn't used the bookmark feature before, did notice the bookmark could only be applied when playing, not...
An option on the modified web interface would be great. I can't comment on the technical side. But all these refinements to the Humax are really much appreciated:D
The thread is entitled "Backing Everything Up" but you say: quote "6) The script doesn't copy sidecar files (no point) or any other content (why bother, this script is aimed at decrypting stored content and that's only the recorded programmes, you have ftp for the rest)"
If it is to be usefull...
I had already decided my system didn't cut the mustard so to speak, but was interested to hear your views. I plan on renewing things and I shall bear in mind your comments. It is also important to know for others to be able to referr to on this forum.
Things are changing so quickly these days...
I have corrected my post #31 and thanx to Fenlander for putting me straight. My network was in fact set up correct:disagree: I have now successfully installed the virtual disk copied both Std & Hi-Def to it and WMP11 streams the Std :) but only plays sound with frozen picture on Hi-Def. Perhaps...
