I'll second filezilla, It's what I used to transfer all my audio onto the T2. I put it there instead of accesing it over the network as the UI is 10x faster on the local drive.
I suspect that this is what happened on the beta before Christmas; the email said OK to talk but don't mention certain bits of the portal software. Hence I posted the features (as mentioned by Fifthhorseman) and avoided discussing the portal. I was quickly castigated by a Humax representative...
Do you have the beta software, it's only enabled in new system options in the new software. You don't need the 1.02.xx portal s/w but you do need post 1.01.09
Our local PC World/Currys megastore has them all laid out switched on and you can pick them up and play to your hearts content. They may be a bit more expensive but that is worth oodles to me.
Do you edit footage? If so you may want to consider if your programme can read the files directly or they need transcoding.
A lifetime Canon buyer I've been looking at Panasonic's recently as I think their lowlight performance is better and indoors everything is lowlight.
