  The first thing I do now when my better half can't get it to work is to check the device selection button. 9 times out of 10 that's the problem. I wonder if it's possible to set it up so that all devices activate the T2 so it doesn't matter which one is pressed?

  I suspect that given the type of software you develop there is a lot more money available to throw at development than for a mass market cheap box where a few pounds can mean lost sales. I accept that bad software will also lose sales but the average punter will put up with some terrible...

  Once the actual working software is out people won't bother mentioning bugs in the beta software. If anybody discusses beta stuff and mentions problems then people surfing and contemplating buying teh Humax may see it and not realise all the problems have been sorted and consequently be put off...

  I think that the boxes can only play back recorded content from each other when connected on a network, as iplayer cannot record you may not be able to do what you want, or am I misunderstanding?

Are you talking HD-T2 or HDR-T2 (This is why we need a separate forum) 1.01.12 would be old beta software for the HDR-T2 but released software for the HD-T2
