  Can we all start guessing what .xx will turn out to be. I'm guessing 2 internal builds a week this year which by the end of Janurary will make it .9 (ish). Of course if any beta testers have a version after that then hey have a bit of an advantage.

  True it's not a waste of money unless you do it so often the cost outweighs the benefit. I would hope that their finance department know how often is right, but its probably a case of sticking your finger in the air and hoping, I have little faith in many decisions, there are just people who...

  The rest of the family use Win7 but I'm still on XP, it works. Tried dual booting Linux once but couldn't see a need and the dual boot just meant I had to hang around waiting for the screen longer so that disappeared after a few weeks.

19. Volume Level Differences
  
  I reported this (to Humax) sometime back in the 1.01.06 days. HD sound cannot be altered as that would require decoding, modifying the sound level and then re-encoding. That would probably take a much faster processor and an encoding capability. I think that they just switch it off for all HD...
