  Perhaps you should point your friend to these forums as I am sure they will help him get even greater benefits from his Hummys. It has certainly opened my eyes to what the box can do with the custom software installed. ;)

  I personally use MediaHouse and MXPlayer on my Android phone without a problem, except when playing HD .ts files as previously mentioned. I haven't tried VPlayer but will give it a try. :)

  Had exactly the same problem. In my case it was the FVD Downloader extension causing it. Removed and all is now well. ;)

  I also use Handbrake and have had no problems. I have had issues in the past with a number of videos not playing correctly on the Hummy even though they play perfectly on my PC (and phone) and put it down to the codecs. You could also try Avidemux which I also use.

  It is possible that the conversion is at fault given that the program you are using is a beta. I haven't used this myself but I would suggest trying to encode using another program and comparing the results. ;)

  Thanks, guys, for such prompt answers. I've always had content sharing on as have been using it as a DLNA server since new. The logo was always there, just needed to decrypt which was so obvious I didn't even think of it :)
