      HDR Fox T2 File ts Editing

      VideoRedo reckons that it is 16:9 in the metadata. Trouble is I don;t have any way of confirming this. I have used DVDPaatcher to correct such issues on SD mpg and VOB files. Black Hole, what was the name of the utility you used, and will it work with HD?

      ASPECT RATIO ISSUES Using Raydon's excellent Foxy and following his advice, I too am using VideoRedo TV suite to edit the unencrypted HD ts files. I do need to reencode the audio as my Sony BDV-E370 does not like the native format, but the video is not re-encoded (exactly what I wanted)...

      Aha, I have much the same as you Black Hole. Everything I've looked at in the files (with VideoRedo) indicates the Humax ts file is 16:9. The ts file is 1440 x 1080 i.e 4:3 ratio i.e. an anamorphic widescreen setting. Now, try this check... Although it appears to be 4:3 change the aspect ratio...

      Thanks raydon this is hugely appreciated. I can't quite get the transport streem file to play properly though! In Windows Media Player on Windows 7 the picture plays fine but there is no sound. Presumably I'm missing an audio codec? The ts file does not play back either picture or sound on my...
