  As Chris said might be worth googling sky error codes.I did mine and it appears to be a sky based problem not me.

  Hi Freelander, Sounds like a similar issue to mine, i get an error 1701 when i try to play on demand content. Live Sky TV channels are ok. I was told it sounded like a network issue for me, but bearing in mind i can stream live tv with no issues i am not so sure. Either way i am at least...

  Thanks, i think before i ask any more daft questions i need to go and read up on networks and make sure my PC is connected as it should be, and my humax network box settings are also as they should be ( whatever that is :eek:). Thanks for your help, i came here off DS and you guys are lot more...

When i am stuck on connecting i can back out of the portal but then i cant access the EPG so hence the restart- and i have to wait until the hard disk is silent. I have tried waiting but to no...
