Can you restore Channel settings? That is what takes the time. … I.e. auto download, then edit to delete dross, I do have some apps installed …maybe not the ones needed.- Sargan

No, was not aware .... is this some 'click' function. or app ? ...... it takes quite some time to get all channels, delete ones I don't want then reselect schedules. Please can you explain more, or point me to the appropriate place. I...- Sargan

Chris .. as you have had T4-R in use for over a year, care to give an update ? # Stability # video quality # software updates added anything Also can you move recordings from Fox HDR to it, or am I right no option for this.- Sargan

I just time shift. Only time I copied off recordings was when I put in a new HDD. Is the limit due to app/access or file formats? I had a look at Manhattan reviews, seems people really like the GUI & scheduling, the negative is only 2 simultaneous recordings …. Aura has 3 tuners. Aura GUI it...- Sargan

Failed again overnight …. Set up wizard on start up today. Which means a full Channel search, edit of these, then reprogram of schedules. Think I might have to go route suggested above and change board. Been doing a fair amount of background reading and change to Aura in its current level is...- Sargan

I installed new HDD in my Humax and copied in content so hopefully once swapped psu & board over bringing up HDD won5 be too bad. Is there a better variant psu …? Knowing capacitors age.- Sargan

I hadn't looked at 2nd hand ...have 3 older Humax boxes (not FOX T2) Was sort of thinking moving up to the current product when FOX T2 is terminal (Aura 4k), assuming a new box is not imminent. Took a quick look on eBay they seem to be sub £30- Sargan

I remember the task .. but more than a year ago, I couldn't remember the details. As fault is still occurring it does seem that 'system-flush' is not the answer.- Sargan

Finshed the task ... first thing it did was go to the set up wizard again ... so schedules & channels all lost again. (not sure if that is inevitable with system flush)- Sargan

OK .. installed & run the system flush file - reported success Run fix-flash-packages That completed Not sure what you mean by the next step. I have packages installed : IR, tunefix, newk, undelete, boot-settings they show as currently installed, do I have to do anything to them ?- Sargan
