I have discovered (in other completely different situations) people don't have an eye for detail. Ask them to put out some tables and chairs and they will be higgledy-piggledy, not tidy straight lines because they don't even notice. As above, please confirm the actual unit (HD-FOX vs HDR-FOX) so we can put this in the right category (presuming it's not already). Of course, but is SMB supported (desktop Linux) as standard? Terrahawk indicates the SMB client needs installing. I just thought NFS would be a better drop-in fit, perhaps with auto-discovery.- Black Hole

The router is consistent. The SpeedSmart app is giving results for download consistent with my current experience (fluctuating between a few hundred kbps and a few Mbps). The upload measurement is completely off the wall, and I suspect a bug in some app update... but another app also gives...- Black Hole
