  My Gogglebox on 7th November gave me a 'failed to track' error and didn't record. I'm on Rowridge :( Luckily my faithful old Toppy recorded it upstairs ok :)

  Well I finally got round to doing plugging a CAT5 cable into my Humax to enable me to try fix-disk again and it worked like a charm.   I've taken it off now as I have had the box lock up a couple of times. The last time it happened it finished recording a programme then just wouldn't turn off so I left it and it was still awake the next morning. Had to switch it off to get it going again.

  I thought I was imagining this the other day when I saw the blue light on, but obviously not. I have only recently switched to the customised firmware and Red Ring. Mine was fully off too.

  I installed the wireless-helper package at the weekend, but it I still couldn't get past the initial maintenance mode stage. I didn't have time to feth my long Cat5 cable out of the roof, but hope to try it later in the week.
