Beta [cfupdater] Custom Firmware Updater
With a second HD-Fox T2 system, USB hard disk + WiFi dongle in USB hub, the 3.14 update went perfectly from the WebIf updater. It even appeared to fix the inability to find the package repository when updating channel-icons (only), but surely that was a coincidence.- /df

Try https://github.com/xoofx/stdatomic (mirror). From the J Gustedt write-up, I guess this will be similar to the gist that I borrowed, using the old gcc __sync... functions to implement the C11 spec, per JG's 2.3.- /df

Exactly. /etc/init.d/S89maintenance forces Wi-Fi on if it detects a supported device (iwgetid, ~l.130) but apparently in some cases (hidden SSID?) /sbin/wifi-up then hangs when the expected connection doesn't materialise. 15-ish years on, what's the recommended multi-mode setup? I have settings based on AR for BBC TV and generally padding for other TV and for all radio, but I can't now see the justifying post or Wiki entry.- /df
