  Just had another runaway recording. Richard Osman's House of Games on BBCTWO HD. Thanks to BH's kind advice, I cancelled it by switching to the channel and hitting the Stop button. Is it significant that I have had two such events in two weeks?

  This worked! Some of the time. I get tones back immediately after sustained switch shifting. Then it goes back to pulse after a while. I'm tempted to dismantle the phone... Any advice?
