It seems Channel 5 haven't indicated this is a series so they haven't added a series code. They don't indicate it is a series either in the program description although it should be her new series of travel programs. There is no manual option to set a recording to repeat, its all guide driven...
Just to add the EIT isn't the problem with your non-recordings, the EIT is read correctly and the recording is set to start. The problem appears to be some issue with the tuner not starting correctly when its ask to return other packets. I can't replicate the problem but I'm adding a watch dog...
Thanks for the debug log, it seems to be a continuation of the same problem where it isn't obtaining the data required from the transport stream in order to know which packets to record so it doesn't record anything. I do have some time this week so will do some changes and get a test version...
Had a look at the code to try and see what might have happened. It appears when the tuner was asked to filter and return the packets with the ID 100, which in turn identifies all the packets required to be pulled from the MUX in order to save the program, the tuner went quiet and never returned...
Hi, had a look in the eventlog, it did start recording for Death in Paradise however it never seemed to obtain the PMT data so never started recording the stream for that program, that data is broadcast continually so I'm thinking some corruption caused that bit of the code to exit without...
It sounds like some issue finding the tuner on the network when it wants to try and get the channels, possibly a bug in the code not handling something different about your set up. If you go to Settings, look at 'Devices found and Priority', in here you will you see all the tuners on your...
Now there was a bug in an earlier version where the save didn't work at the confirming the tuned channels on a certain browser, so try using a different browser, think the issue was with Firefox or IE, Chrome was okay, I remember fixing it for newer versions so it might be that.
Okay something odd is happening as it should be saving the newly found channels then updating the guide. Could you forward me the log or paste it here to see if it sheds any light onto the issue. You can get this from Settings and Download log for the day, I think this was in 1.0.4. It will...
Have you made sure the frequencies/channels on the Tuner page before you start tuning are set to include all the new ones, so it should have channel 30 in the list so that it can pick up on it?
Can't see a reason why BBC4 HD would have an issue, fine here and just retuned and it is there.
Have you checked the frequencies you have set to tune for in DvrOnTime? If you visit the link below it will tell you what channels you should be tuning into. Hope that helps...
The HDHomeRun has a deliberate TTL (Time To Live on the networking side) setting of 1, this means it will only go one hop so is forced to stay on the same local network. I think this is due to legal reasons and so that HDHomeRun can not be considered a broadcasting device of live TV.
Yes they will drop off as the general rule when using series link in the DVB spec is to wait up to 13 weeks to see if programs return, if they don't then drop the series link.
Exactly that, all the scheduled programs are in a database. When re-tuning you may see a lot of scheduled recordings...
I bet money it was logged into the system. All systems I've worked on will display a generic, "Error" message but will have logged the exception internally for support staff. That doesn't mean anyone looks at it mind you :)
Sorry hadn't seen that. Yes it should recover better, will take a...
With many error messages shown to the user they are deliberately simple and often not informative, especially on banking websites and apps, so as not to give away any issues or details that later could be exploited. If an unhandled error happens, the software could dump the full error or trace...
Yes that works, however problem being it is ignored if the PC has been woken from sleep by a timer and is in unattended mode. I suspect for safety and to stop apps draining laptop batteries or doing bad things Windows ignores any keep awake requests when in unattended mode and goes back to sleep...
Of course you can use things like hard-drive power management (to spin down any drives) and have any attached monitor turned off, all that works fine. Just things like Sleep (aka suspend-to-ram) and hibernate will not work as DvrOnTime doesn't have the means to wake the machine. If it is...
I did look into supporting suspend to RAM so that DvrOnTime would wake the PC and put it to sleep again. One main issue was wake by a schedule saw the PC going to sleep again within minutes with no way to keep it awake by the application or any available APIs. The only solution was a registry...
It can be a bit confusing setting it up. The protocol to use is Windows network (SMB), the server name should be your Windows 10 network name/computer name. You need to use a Username and password, I don't think I ever got to work without using credentials even if the folder is set for...
I use Kodi on the Nvidia Shield, works well although occasionally the Shield decoder will crash if skipping, doesn't happen that often, but when it does the Shield needs rebooting before it will decode any video in any app again!
