Not sure if it's similar to when I get an "Invalid format" from my TV (eg maybe your TV gives a different message for the same issue).
https://hummy.tv/forum/threads/invalid-format-connected-to-new-lg-oled-tv.10786/
I still get those occasional messages with no response from the HDR at all (from...
Try using more words and sentences to describe the issue.
Also switch unit off for a few minutes (eg via rear power switch/unplug) and on again.
Do you get sound from live TV reception and/or live radio?
Was the no sound recording made on another device?
Is all sound/everything on the Humax...
Great news that you've found the fault.
One thing (because I didn't see you mention it specifically on last post) - make sure the Aura works via the HDMI to RCA converter to the other bits to the kitchen TV. Just in case there is another faulty item.
I think for clarity OP should establish what works and what doesn't, as multiple items have been introduced. Also describe in detail the setup, as I think the diagram in #12 may be inaccurate when you take into account of
Is there an item just before the TV for both pvrs?
Or is the HDR Fox HDMI...
That ping result looks odd.
So is the HDR 192.168.1.4 and the other one is your pc?
(You mention you can't access the HDR from your PC.)
So what are the IPs for you PC and router?
It's likely a network issue, so try getting it to work with auto/DHCP on the HDR with a cable directly attached to...
That'll be relatively easy if you only use the infra red part of the Aura remote. If you use the Bluetooth part it may limit your choices. (Eg I think the voice control requires Bluetooth.)
I suggest practicing on an old or unwanted remote first. Use thin but blunt spudgers to minimise chances...
Yes, I thought it looked like a good fit.
That may/may not be the issue. It's just my perception from tests and noticing the difference in WebIF.
It might be a small bug.
Maybe there is some exception processing for file in use and/or encrypted. Duplicating that process for freshly created...
That's one way of creating the symptom.
Another way is to look at the media file in WebIF after it's decrypted but before it gets a DLNA URL.
One way of testing for this is to
Turn off content share - Menu/Settings/System/Internet Setting/Content Share/off
WebIF/browse/My Video/select a short...
I've seen this issue when using WebIF to copy fileset from one directory to another. Media details on the destination fileset gives different result. Maybe it only occurs for a short while after the copy. (It could before it's completed the DLNA indexing?)
I misunderstood OP's initial post! I...
Normal for this information to be in the original recording.

As you say, on something like the old HDR Fox T2 there are settings for that in preferences/time/power on timer and preferences/time/power off timer. If that isn't offered on the Aura, can you install a suitable app that'll perform that function - scheduled power on/off?
At the moment, the repeats on Sunday are still showing (ep 13 & 14).
But they've changed the Monday evening schedule.
They're not showing next pair of episodes at 2000 & 2100.
It looks like they're starting to show weekday episodes from the beginning (ie S1, E1) at 1800. Without using SCRID. Great.
I think the network behaviour has changed a little in the last 2 years or so. Not sure if this will help.
On my HDR I have eth0 and wlan0 on same subnet. They have static IP on WebIF network settings. wlan0 is always connected and I occasionally hotplug in eth0 when required (ie after boot up)...
I think that Humax email meant the system app Freeview is the one that's changed.
The other one is Freeview TV, which should remain as "1.00_62_240210".
On the BBC site.

So it won't affect portable devices, only PCs and Macs.....
I wonder what happens to Android TV devices (eg set top box, TV) that have storage...
Indeed they have. The SCRIDs were on Mondays (12/2) programmes, so for next week (19/2) they choose to not use the SCRIDs.
Maybe do this
Or just the old manual weekly timers x2.
I don't see this as a major issue. It's not rocket science.
It's just connect a USB drive and don't disconnect it - otherwise it won't work properly.
It's a bit like the requirements for anyone wishing to use a PVR they'll need to supply power & switch PVR on, select correct source on TV input...
