I've got a LG smart TV and also an LG DLNA bluray player.
Standard def files stream great to both.
But HD files, even decrypted, just dont seem to play.
Through the Humax streamer - TV picture is corrupt, Bluray player doesn't even recognize/play the files
Through mediatomb - both will play...
As noted from the main Raspberry Pi thread the Humax DLNA server doesn't appear to support fast forward or rewind in XBMC.
Is there a workaround for this, perhaps running a samba share on the hummy and connecting directly to that in XBMC, or using the mediatomb server instead?
I'll have a go...
If I use the humax to stream content to a PS3 (not using mediatomb - the default server) I have no sound on High Def recordings.Video is fine though.
Standard Def recordings work fine and I have video and audio.
Is this a known issue? For info I'm testing with Match of the day on BBC HD...
I'd like to setup a plex server that can read files created by the hummy (.ts)
Have installed it on WIndows 7 but it will not/cannot read the .ts files.
Would I need to do any conversion on them first?
Nobody on the plex forums seems to know the answer to this, so thought I'd ask if anyone else...
