Apologies too for my late response - somehow I stopped getting notifications for updates to this thread.
Anyway, I too have downgraded to ffmpeg v0.10 following Ezra's instructions and this has fixed the conversion issue.
I did have one failure but I think that can be put down to running out...
Recently, attempts to extract to mpg (after decrypt) of SD recordings are causing my Humax to run very slow and even crash.
All packages are up to date at the time of writing.
Not sure exactly when this started, estimate it is within the last 2-3 months.
Seems to be on longer recordings (1+...
Thanks af123 - that seems to have done the trick. The upgrade did report a missing package the first time round...

I have the same/similar problem, auto-processing has just stopped working.
Queue shows items awaiting decryption/converting to mp3 - but it's not getting worked.
Updated all packages just before this happened - can't say if it was an update that started this for sure though. Am currently up to...
Not for me, my Iron Man 3 was not flagged and Finding Nemo (1st shown in 2013) was flagged. However, it does appear that most of my flagged recordings could be classed as premieres if you include film shorts (e.g. The Farmer's Llamas, Stick Man).
I have Iron Man 3 from BBC1 SD tonight and it is not marked with ENC. Have only briefly scanned the recent posts but my recording is untouched by any Humax automation so if there is any info I can supply let me know what/how. This was recorded from BBC1 Yorkshire, too.
Does auto-unprotect do the same as hmt -protect?
Removing the ENC flag using hmt is still troublesome for me - cannot 'extract MPG' fro some of these files. Unfortunately, not found a pattern to which are OK and which are not.
I'm recording a lot of stuff over the Christmas period and am getting ENC recordings almost daily at the moment - all are on BBC1 but not all BBC1 recordings have the ENC flag. Think all are from scheduled recordings. My current 'workaround is'
[telnet] hmt -protect
[webif] opt+ decrypt

:) No problem.
Meantime, some more info...
Having run "hmt -protect" all looked good until I tried to "extract MPG" form the file (in webif). Progress bar jumps from 0% to 100% after about 3-5 seconds and, obviously, no MPG file is written. The recording is also in a folder that should...
Yes, have read the posts - just run "hmt -protect" on one of the files which has cleared the flag. This just confirms the above too.
What info. do you want or what would you like me to try to help figure out why this happened?
Hi,
Similar to OP, I have 3 recent SD recordings that have the ENC flag listed against them (in the 'More details popup Flags are "SD New Encrypted ODEncrypted". All were recorded from normal BBC1 Yorkshire channel, so not HD (Channel 47, 682.0 MHz, Yorkshire PSB1/BBC A, DVB-T (SD)). All were...
OK, but I also have a Synology Diskstation with DLNA on the LAN and that can be seen everywhere (it comes through the old router/switch in to the new Technicolour router too).
The search continues.... :)
Update for future readers who might have similar issue - so far, I think it is some sort of LAN issue I'm yet to determine!
Reset DLNA database did nothing, so I started to experiment.
LAN setup (bear with me :) ) is a BT Openreach modem in to a Technicolor router. Connected to the router is...
Not the 'push' effect you are after, but you could try the BubbleUpNP app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bubblesoft.android.bubbleupnp&hl=en_GB).
You can set up playlists and then browse them form the Humax once connected (along with, e.g. artist, album, composer, etc.)...
After hints on how to investigate why my 2 HDR boxes can't see each other in the network view, I.e. via DLNA. This used to be fine, not sure when it stopped working though. All other devices on the network can see both boxes - TV, phones, computer, tablet - hard wired and WiFi. CF is 2.17, will...
Overdue update
Tried for a while to figure out a pattern and couldn't. At some point, noticed that the CF was not up to date (was 1 version out IIRC), so upgraded that. Then left it again for a bit and went on holiday.
Just got round to checking stuff- watched a few things. Have seen just...
MartinLiddle - Sure - should have made a note of those before but will come back with some info. once collected.
Ezra Pound - TV viewing on Humax has issues too - so not just a hard disk problem. I did run SMART test from CF, which showed everything is OK. When I get chance I'll try those...
