Yes, no problem playing completed recordings. I generally go for non-HD recordings for things I know will be watched upstairs, to try and minimise the chance of problems across the WiFi.
Do you mean the Humax software generally isn't up to remote chase play, or the Foxlink package specifically (which is what I use to connect my 2 machines)? Just trying to understand if it is something that could be improved (either via ChaseDecrypt or another route).
I currently have my HD-T2 set with the same encryption key as my HDR to avoid the need for decryption. I have similar results trying to view a recording in progress on the HDR from the HD-T2. Perhaps the hardware just isn't up to it?
Thanks again Brian. Sure enough the log shows it crashed at around 7 this morning which would have been when it was first turned on. Before that it crashed on Oct 15 and Sep 27. Before that it was April.
Do I need to be concerned about the crashes or is it par for the course?
I've started to have incidence of the undelete package failing, ie recordings fully deleting rather than being moved to the deleted folder. I have been fixing this by uninstalling and then reinstalling the package, but after a week or two the issue returns.
There is plenty if space on the hard...
I replaced my 1tb drive which was dying a slow death back in January. Used a Seagate Pipline HD 1tb from WAE+ (link below). Has been working flawlessly since.

I don't use skyplayer regularly. In fact the last time I tried it was probably when I checked it for the query earlier up this thread. Was planning to watch the Arsenal game tonight but just got the error.
Here is my log for the day in question:
27/02/2013 18:01:40 !Error, cannot find event to schedule.
27/02/2013 18:01:38 Processing command 'schedule '
27/02/2013 18:01:37 System booted.
27/02/2013 04:39:09 Updated disk contents.
27/02/2013 04:30:26 System booted.
I think there may have been. My log shows"!Error, cannot find event to schedule." for 27/2 which is when I set a series record for Parks & Recreation next week.
I would find such an auto-expire feature very useful. In particular it would save me manually deleting numerous soap episodes which my wife invariably ends up watching on the box upstairs anyway.
In my case it isn't showing either. Having taken an entire series folder including sidecar files (only alteration being to shrink and unprotect via webif) off the HDR via USB, the HDR can view the series folder over the network but shows an empty folder. I thought at first I hadn't selected...
I had some (sort of) similar behaviour recently. I had to pull some recordings off the HDR which has a failing hard drive. I had shrunk and unprotected these using the custom firmware, and pulled them off onto a USB stick which I transferred to a seprate hard drive I have networked through my...
I look forward to trying this out. I installed custom firmware 2.14 last week, primarily to use the fix disk function on my 2+ year old 1tb HDR which has always returned and error (error 5 I think) from the on screen HDD check even after a reformat. I ended up ordering a new hard drive at the...
