I wouldn't be surprised if the firmware on the Humax Youview box could be run on the HDR but just runs slower. It doesn't look that much faster on the vids i have seen today.
I reckon you CF programmers will be upgrading us to Youview lite before you know it!

I suggest you do too or they won' know how annoyed we are at the lack of guidance or instruction.
Just to check you are doing same as me: Switch on Humax for a few minutes to be sure it has fully booted, open XBMC (X Box Media Center), click Videos, Add source, Browse, uPnP devices and you should see it. If not I reckeon there is somewhere in your Windows settings that allows file sharing. I...
So far I have installed new firmware without any problem. Windows 7 sees it as a media device but WMP doesn't see any files. The SD files (recorded tv) can only be seen by using XBMC which I used for the first time today. XBMC can only see the folders for HD content but not the files as they are...
I have asked this question elsewhere but I'll try again here. I would like to copy unencrypted HD files to a USB drive using Foxy. The Humax won't write to NTFS but will to FAT32 or Ext3. Fat32 has a 4GB limit and Ext3 is no use to me as I am running Windows 7 or is there way to get Ext3 to work...
