I joined at the weekend and authorisation email was 2 minutes after.
Anyway, I've sent a link to the drive, you shouldn't need permission. I think you received that message because I had deleted the file. In the old link I realised I'd given you what would have been version 2.0 (had I not...
Nice one Luke. Presumably one needs to be logged in to avoid the 'restricted' message for download? (I'll try later, just posing the question so others know).
Also, since Snibble woke me from my Humax slumber, I've now found my old 9300T in a box, so if anyone needs the front-end updated our...
Sent you a download link to humaxrw and my front end for it on Wednesday. Cheers.
Edit: I still have hummyreadfiles094 too.
Edit2: Looks like I might have sent you the link for an old version :-) I've removed it, just download from the post below. Cheers.
I've definitely uploaded stuff to a 9200T that has played afterwards but I never really needed to use it so didn't bother to test it too much. I do seem to recall that I lost my file names and recording times but maybe that can be fixed, I don't know. It might be a whole lot simpler just to...
Would look like there is a problem of some kind. If the PC finds the disk then it may just be a corrupt file system. You can manually find out what drive number the humax disk is by going to 'Disk Management' - in Vista/Win 7 its in Control Panel, System and Security, Administrative Tools then...
Risky? In what sense? Lose an eye or break the cable? If I'd destroyed the cable I'd have made a new one, so risk exists of course, but the consequences are fairly small - unless I lose an eye. I used a Dremel type device and it cut straight through the plastic (as would a hacksaw or most...
Keeping the power is the hassle there. The Humax uses a proprietary cable which is the data and power cables connected together and the power cable having a PC power supply type square end on it (not sure what they are called). But with only the minimum of work a cable mod is easy. I've just put...
Is that what happened to it (or was it the same server glitch that affected the avatars)? Silent deletions wouldn't be too cool.
No matter, whatever it was its done now. I've uploaded it elsewhere and anyone who wants HumaxRW Front-End can get it from Click Here.
I'll also take the time to...
No, the link doesn't work and I don't know why. Can the Moderators fix it?
If not what's the options (rules wise)? Can I link to another download site?
Edit: Looks like the uploaded avatars are not working either (or is that just me)?
Cheers

Thanks again. I had a quick look in the EPG Partition but never seen it the first time hence not linking 2nd partition with epg partition, doh. Found it now though and will play around a little to see what if I can link all this stuff together.
Cheers.
Thanks for the info, good to see what some of the other bytes tell us. The file I downloaded was contiguous (and short) but proved I understood the websites instructions.
Still stuck on the program info though. I had a little sniff around the HDD but it's like trying to find a needle in a...
Looking for info on how the Humax 9200T disk drive is laid out. I've read both these pages:
http://humaxdisk.wikispaces.com/Disk+Format
http://www.mudup.co.uk/humax/9200T/
But I am still short of information. All the info makes sense on those 2 web sites and I've even managed to download an...
If the bargain options listed fail, you can get an original remote for £20 on Amazon.
Sounds like the box may be programmed for different channel frequencies than you currently use, so rescanning the channels should work (assuming the box isn't trollied). You'll need a remote to operate the...
Interesting. That is probably why HumaxReadFiles never worked for me. Can you ask the author how many files is too many? The limit on number of recorded files (of any length) is about 511 which hardly seems like 'too many'.
HumaxRW works very well with 9200 and 9300 (I've tested both) but I did...
Here is v1.01 of the front-end for HumaxRW that I was talking about above. I made it for my own use, but if others find it useful then I'm happy to share.
Windows only, .net framework 3.5 required and you need HumaxRW.exe (not provided) to be in the same folder as the Front-End. Some features...
Put the HumaxRW files in an easy location on your computer, say, C:\Humax then:
1. Plug Old Humax Disk into computer
2. Plug New Humax Disk into computer
assuming Old Humax Disk is drive 2 and New Humax Disk is drive 3 then
3. run command prompt (as administrator)
4. type "cd C:\Humax"...
Seems I'm a little late into this thread (being 3 months since last post) but yes, HumaxRW works well with the 9300T. I use a Sata to USB connector for transfers (which is unscrew and attach cable) as I haven't got round to the sata to esata thing yet - and not sure I ever will.
While the DoS...
