  Sorry, no. It creates entries copying from the EPG, so it needs to be live. It's not good dealing with manual recordings not from the EPG either.

  I was trying to move towards a recommendation feature. Look for programmes you regularly watched a lot, and suggest when they re-enter the schedule. But ignore programmes you barely watch. But we don't have enough metadata in the EPG for what I was after, and not enough horsepower.

  Ah. The To Be Recorded list is created by joining the schedule and the EPG using the programme ID. As manual events are determined by time rather than programme ID it won't work. Sorry.
