Looks like it - I got a 98 minute recording too. Didn't cause any conflict in my case so I hadn't noticed until I checked just now. Dover transmitter, if that's relevant.
Ta - I might give that a go when I've got a bit of time. When all's said and done though, I do at least have a decrypted copy which is complete - it just can't use any 'trick play' or resume after the 45 min. point; which is not a disaster.
Thanks to all for the ideas.
Cunning plan, but no luck. The crop screen said it was going to keep 190.85% (!) and happily went about it, but then actually cropped the recording at the 45 minute point...
Incidentally, the copy to the external drive succeeded in copying - and decrypting - the full recording, but it just took the .hmt file across as was and so the copy has the same problem as the original.
Thanks both, but I've already tried that - the bar is only 45 minutes long. And it won't accept a value typed in that is longer than the duration in seconds that the hmt file holds.
No, that doesn't work, I'm afraid - whenever I try to skip (using either the skip button or the right arrow) beyond the 45 minute point it just keeps returning to that point. The only way it will go past there is in normal playback, and if I hit the bookmark button at any point after that, it...
Here's an interesting one - don't know if anyone's seen this before.
I've just recorded - and watched - the 1986 World Cup film of BBC2HD this morning and, although the recording completed OK (the .ts file is all there), something has caused the .hmt file to log that the recording finished...
I have this icon on a single archived recording off of C4HD from before I installed the CFW and auto-unprotect. Out of curiosity, I tried to copy it back to the internal drive and it copied without complaint, and the copied file is without the icon (although that may be auto-unprotect at work...
Actually, the user interface in PlayTV on the PS3 is resolution sensitive and automatically adjusts font size and number of items displayed to suit the screen being used - including when you use 'remote play' on the PSP.
PlayTV's UI is a thing of beauty - unfortunately its basic functionality as...
