Does anyone know the URL's or IP addresses of the YouView update as I'd like to block it and only update if and when I want to. That will prevent another repeat of the latest ghastly (IMO) user-interface mash-up.

Picked this virtually new unit up from my mother last week. All working fine. But now no video. Sound is fine. It responds to the remote (well, I can change channels and hear the sound change so guess it is responding). Checked the SCART connection..seems plugged in OK. The guide mentions...
Following on from my thread regarding formatting, I did format the drive but the stuttering still occurred. So Humax sent me a replacement.
My question is this. These replacements...are they new or reconditioned because this one is also stuttering. It is not the transmitter because I...
Three times this has happened now over the space of a month or so. Darn annoying especially if you are recording something. Coupled with the my other thread on stuttering, do we think my drive is on the way out?
Does it just delete the file allocation table/directory information leaving the data sectors untouched?
Or does it format the whole drive (less reserved sectors) ?
If it does re-format the whole drive then does it map out bad sectors or not?
