What I want to do is record either HD or SD programmes at home, copy them to a USB stick or memory card (either direct from Humax or using a PC) and then play them back at an elderly...
In the past two days or so I have had several files fail to decrypt and they end up being unplayable. Some had the file size reduced to 0 bytes while others show the screen saying that the channel is scrambled or not available. I have tried a few test recordings and this appears to be happening...
I use Cut and Paste to move recordings from the internal Hard Disk to an external drive. I had always assumed that the Web Interface on the PC sent a simple command to the Humax and from that point onwards all processing was done by it.
However I recently shut down the PC and didn't notice...
