Playing "ripped" CDs?
Sainsburys are now selling Vinyl and my local Oxfam shop offers LPs at staggering prices - as much as £100 for a copy of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper! I am amazed that people have the means to play these things - perhaps they just frame them?- HumaxVictim

FLAC takes up less than half the space that WAV does and WAV doesn't support tags. MP3 at 320 kBits/sec is about a quarter the size of WAV. I dare say that that is quite true. However, I just happen to have an HD-Fox T2 and a BluRay player in place and space is at something of a premium. I assume that the HD-Fox T2 can playback MP3s stored on a USB memory stick but can it play "FLAC" files? If not, is this facility available in any of the "Hacked" firmware versions?- HumaxVictim

Yup, I realise that. What I wondered was whether this was a known piece of custom firmware and if so, what it did that the latest Humax firmware doesn't do - e.g. access to and the ability to record from iPlayer, 4OD, etc.? Any idea what error message "F2.20" means?
I am trying to get the Humax to record on a 32GB USB memory stick. It is currently formatted as FAT-32 with no files. When I put it in the Humax it is recognised and reported as having 29.8GB. I don't appear to be able to record on it. I suspect that I need to format it on the HUMAX but I can't...- HumaxVictim

Oh . . . OK, thanks for that. I wonder if I have overwritten something useful? The box seems to be working OK with firmware version 1.03.02. I haven't tried YouTube or an HDD yet.- HumaxVictim

Any idea what error message "F2.20" means?
I have had an error message appear that reads "F2.20" appear when powering on a newly acquired (via GumTree) HD-Fox T2. Does anyone have any idea what this message means? I upgraded the firmware to version 1.03.02 and it hasn't reappeared since but I just wondered if anyone had seen it before.- HumaxVictim

"Currently due to the changes at BBC regarding the support on various versions of iPlayer the HD-FOX T2 does not have a version that is still supported. This is currently under review on our side and we are awaiting confirmation and a schedule as to when we can upgrade iPlayer; this will also...- HumaxVictim
