I was staying in a Holiday Inn Express last week (Yep, I know how to live the high life), and the room TV seemed to be an "almost" standard Samsung terrestrial Freeview receiver. Aside from some of the Installation menu options being greyed-out, it didn't seem to have any other "hotel" firmware...

I'm new here, but have been a very happy PVR-9200T users for several years.
Based on my pleasant experiences with my 9200, I recently recommended that my parents went for a HDR-FOX T2, assuming it would be just as good, but with the added benefit of HD recording.
