I sometimes watch TV "live" by opening the 0.ts file on my foxsat HDR on my laptop in Media Player Classic.
This works OK, but unfortunately ITV2 and ITV3 seem to default to the audio description soundtrack, and playback freezes if I try and change it manually. Recorded files from these...
In my experience you have to clear your browser's cache before installing new firmware, as the browser can cache the wrong index page for the box and not allow you access to the installer page.
As the thread title really. My Foxsat HDR's webif works perfectly apart from the lack of EPG, which I noticed after going to check if S4C could now have recordings scheduled.
I followed the instructions in the documentation to try and force a reinstall of epg but there was no epg.db-opkg file...
Thanks chief. The "Digidol" (digital in Welsh) part is a hangover from when S4C on analogue terrestrial also carried Channel 4 English programming, therefore S4C Digital and S4C Analogue had different schedules
